Folk In A Discograhpy
Folk In A ToneHound Music (2003) Folk In A, a flavoursome interfusion of folk and blues where “DaddyO” Dave Becker (bass) and “TBone” Ted Kastelic (guitar/Harmonica) don’t stray too far from the roots. Folk In A, self-titled album; reminiscences of Mississippi John Hurt with a touch of Steve Tilston thrown in for size. This album attacks many angles and styles, showing these guys aren’t afraid to use it. Blues based and orientated Folk in A takes a fresh approach, alive and full of energy. From the steaming rhythm of “Fireball” and then travelling onto beautiful instrumental like “Hearts Taken Flight” is a sure way to open any album with style. There are other gems like “To Say Goodbye” or “Oh Angel” which take a serious approach with honest lyrics. To quote Dylan “All I got is a red guitar, three chords and the truth”. If you’re into folk, fusion and blues then this album is for you. Tracks: 1. Fireball (Folk In A) 2:54 **MP3
