Bert Jansch was currently living in London with fellow musician John Renbourn at the time they recorded this album, and it turns out it was recorded in the front room of Bill Leaders (sound engineer for Topic Records and friend) flat in St Edmunds Terrace, Camden Town. This would turn out to be the only solo recording that Jansch and Renbourn would do together
